Touchscreen Rubik’s Cube
Everything these days seem to be getting the touch screen treatment. The Techno Source Touchcube is exactly what it sounds like. A touch screen powered Ribik’s cube. Its very cool and very pretty. It works just like a normal Rubik’s cube except to rotate the blocks simply swipe your finger over the section you wish to turn and the cube rotates colors for you. The Touchcube also as several other modes that can be activated, including a self solving mode and a teaching mode. The cube can also save its state if you want to stop and take a break.
The first thing that struck me when I saw the video of it in action is that it looks very futuristic. I wouldn’t be surprised to see something like this being played with in a Star Trek movie. I wonder if there is a built in battery meter so you don’t suddenly find yourself out of juice in the middle of a puzzle. It doesn’t look like something you’d want to fling across the room in frustration. Be sure to check out the video from the source.
