Will We Clone a Dinosaur?: Time.com ponders the question. The idea of using old DNA found in ancient blood to rebuild a dinosaur has been around awhile. However, with this new theory would use “pseudogenes”, copies of old discarded genes to effectively step back in time. This concept combined with several others could prove to key to recreating a long extinct animal. I predict dinosaurs with lasers battling Wooly Mammoths with missile launches in our future.
Homemade Soviet-era Russian sub: 20 year old built tiny submarine in his attic during Soviet-era Russia. After years of trial and error the sub finally is performing nicely. Despite sinking like a stone on its first test run, the sub is now capable of traveling 100 miles in a day and submerging up to 30 feet.
