Fractals in Nature
Fri, Jan 16, 2009
An amazing series of natural fractal photographs by Hector Garrido. I’m always floored by some of these discoveries. Just like computer generated fractals the are all similar, but with striking differences. All it takes is a little luck and often times a different view point. A birds eye view makes all the difference. The fractals are apparently quite common once they are looked for and are most commonly formed by immense river deltas. Well worth a look.
