Catacombes
The Web Urbanist had a great post highlighting some of the fascinating human created underground areas from around the world. They range from ancient catacombs to the huge labyrinth under Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

Some of the images look to have a bit of post processing done to make them really pop. The site has many other images for those interested in this kind of thing.
